It came as no surprise to El Pasoans that our city was voted the third best place in America to raise a family. Cost of living is relatively low, the crime rate is below the national average, and the climate is preferred by many, especially by those wheelers who have gotten tired of shoveling snow.
About Joseph PierceJoseph Pierce was born in Florida but moved to El Paso at age 10. He was paralyzed in a diving accident and soon after enrolled at the University of Texas at El Paso, where he earned a master’s degree in speech language pathology in 2003. He now has the pleasure of working with children from three years of age to adults who have communication disorders. His two boys (12 and 7) keep him busy and well-grounded as he tries to master the fine art of enjoying life to the fullest.
