Remembering Judy

On March 4, the disability community said goodbye to one of its brightest and most revered leaders with the passing of Judy Heumann. Often heralded as the mother of the disability rights movement, Heumann paved the way for many of the advances and privileges we enjoy today with her vision, compassion and fortitude.
