VRBO is partnering with Becoming rentABLE, a leader in accessible vacation rentals, to improve VRBO’s short-term rental offerings and overall approach to accessibility. Now users can filter properties by features like “single-level property,” “entrance ramp,” “accessible pool” and more. Becoming rentABLE is also offering education to VRBO hosts on how to make their properties more accessible.

Day in the Life: Massage Therapist Erica Ladenthin

After cancer treatment damaged her spinal cord, Erica Ladenthin wasn’t sure how she’d be able to continue her career. Claiming Intimacy as a Disabled Woman

Sarah Everhart Skeels has a message for any woman wondering if intimacy is still possible after disability: It absolutely is. She talks with other wheelchair users about their journeys to claiming intimacy, how they’ve found pleasure and rediscovered their bodies. “Sexuality is not static. It’s fluid, adaptable and deeply personal. But at its core, it is ours to define,” she says.
