Promising Stem Cell Trial Cancelled Despite Significant Gains
Stem Cells, Inc. shocked SCI and research communities when it announced that it has closed its Pathway trial using adult neural stem cells. New Mobility reported June 1 on its encouraging results, which included improved hand function for quads, improved sensation and bladder awareness. The company’s lead medical officer had just told NM that the trials would be enrolling through September when the board of directors decided the reported improvements were “not big enough” for investors.

Using an interview with the likeable parents of Grace, a happy and well-adjusted child with spina bifida, the super-PAC Priorities USA has created a one-minute ad well on its way to going viral since its release June 7.
