Trakz Tub Sliders from Raz Design are a solution for those who need a shower chair but don’t have a roll-in shower available.
Trakz Tub Sliders feature a mobility base similar to a traditional rolling shower-chair; a tub base to anchor in a bathtub; and a bridge to connect the two. The mobility base and tub base can adjust heights to accommodate different toilets and bathtubs. The bridge comes in seven standard lengths and can be customized if needed. The bridge has a safety feature that prevents the seat and user from sliding onto the bridge unless all three rails of the bridge are securely connected to the bases.
Trakz-AP (Attendant Propel) does not have a tilt function and requires manual movement of the legs and feet over the bathtub wall. Trakz-AT (Attendant Tilt) can be tilted 35° by an attendant for easier clearance of legs and feet over the side of the tub. Both models come with a cushion of 18 inches by 17 inches and offer accessory options, including arm pads, leg bag holders, and supports for back, head and feet.
The Trakz-AP starts at $4,220 for the mobility base and tub base, while the Trakz-AT starts at $5,220 for the same components. Standard-length bridges cost $975 and custom bridges cost $1,295. For more information, visit Raz Design.
