The church and the mosque are neighbors in Houston, Texas, and on Dec. 4, dozens lined the road between the two houses of worship with welcoming messages as members of the mosque showed up for Friday night prayers. Ibrahim Ezghair, associate imam at the mosque, called the event “a really nice gesture.”
