Sunrise Medical has released the SEDEO PRO ADVANCED, a new seating system for the Quickie Q700 line of power wheelchair bases.
Replacing the Sedeo Ergo, the Sedeo Pro Advanced has several new functions that set it apart from other power wheelchair seating systems. It features 165° of power recline, new multi-link arm supports for more adjustability and closer joystick positioning, as well as a slimmer profile. For those with the Quickie Q700-UP M, the Sedeo Pro Advanced offers a higher standing angle and faster speed when standing and driving.
The Sedeo Pro Advanced also includes features to enhance pressure relief. Memory seating enables the user to save up to six programmable seating positions that can be transitioned to with the press of a button. The Switch-It Remote Seating app, available for iOS and Android, monitors your seating positions, tracks the time spent in each position and alerts you when it is time to change position. The seating information gathered by the app can be shared with medical professionals and caregivers to develop individualized pressure relief plans.
