Quiet Spastic Bladder Without Drug Side Effects

botoxDo you have a spastic bladder? If there was a short (about ½ hour) outpatient procedure that would allow you to stay dry and ditch the side effects of anticholinergic drugs like Ditropan would you try it?

In January of this year the FDA approved Botox injections for quieting the bladder. Sue LoTempio reports on her experience with Botox bladder injections and how, for her, they have been a life changing (and kidney saving), enabling her to stay accident free and ditch the side effects of taking anticholinergic drugs like Ditropan, that can leave you with serious dry mouth, which can play havoc on gums and teeth.

LoTempio explains the procedure, and New Mobility readers weigh in on their experience with Botox.

Have you tried Botox for spastic bladder? Did it help?
